EB-4 Visas

What is an EB-4 Visa?

The EB-4 Immigrant Visa is reserved for “special immigrants” who fall into unique categories set by U.S. immigration law. These include religious workers, certain employees of U.S. foreign service posts, Afghan and Iraqi interpreters or translators, and other specific groups. It provides a route to permanent residency for individuals who provide important services to the U.S. or its communities.

Visa Requirements

To qualify for an EB-4 Visa, you must:

- Belong to an eligible special immigrant category (e.g., religious worker, broadcaster, armed forces member, Afghan/Iraqi translator, international organization employee);

- Meet the specific eligibility criteria for your category, including proof of work experience or service;

- Have a qualifying job offer in the United States, if required by your category.

Benefits of an EB-4 Visa

- Direct route to a Green Card for you and eligible family members.

- Covers a broad range of special categories, some with exemptions from labor certification.

- Opportunity to live and work permanently in the United States.
